Kaylee and Tyler have beat the odds being born over a month early they are perfect 6lbs each. The were a joy to capture. Here is a sneak peak of there session.

So this is a hard blog post for me to write and admit, because part of me feels as if I failed in some way…. However I feel as if I have a super honest, open relationship with all of you and I hope you guys can take this as “WOW she is human too” Its no surprise I am struggling lately to keep up with the day to day demands of running a company, being (for the most part) a single parent five days out of the week, and finding a general balance between work and spending enough time with my daughter Riley. There is this clock in my head right now ticking away really fast the days until Lukas our son’s arrival…. the funny thing is the nursery is as ready as it needs to be for me only being six months pregnant….my problem is making sure Riley (my daughter age 4) is getting enough attention from me because I know all to soon my one on one time with her will be cut short. This is really taking a toll on me right now..my phone rings all the time, I get text, emails, and Facebook messages non stop it seems like on some days. It hard to because we live in a society where people want information right now and if they don’t get it, they move on to the next person on the list in google..I am establishing company working hours, email return time frames, and effective right now no more texting the company number. I really do not want to rub people the wrong way. I L OV E my job.. BUT its taking over every part of my life… I am first and foremost a stay at home mom.. this is my part time job.. its going to return to being a part time job… Shutterly Amazing Portraits…isnt a huge portrait company with a fully staffed office.. I am one person and I handle everything..I hand edit all of your memories one by one, I handle all the print ordering sorting and packaging with little to no help. I do my best at creating, making and designing all the set ups you see when I photograph babies. This job is a lot harder than clicking a camera.. especially when you do it and run a military household. Thank you for understanding and letting me feel as if I can be this open with all of you.
Company working hours are 9:30am-2:30pm Monday and Wednesday ( you can call, email, Facebook me and I will be right here, however if email outside of those times it may take me 24-48hrs to get back to you)
Newborn & Maternity sessions will be scheduled only on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.
I do not work weekends this is my ONLY time with my husband as he works 12-14 hour days during the week…
Please do not text the company number. It drives up the bill and I can’t keep texting because it feels like thats all I do some days..

My belly at 22 weeks…(shoot with my iPhone LOL… see I am normal..)

I got to cuddle with this precious little girl all morning… She rocked some designer hats and headbands for me and vendors to have pictures of. Here is a sneak preview of all that cuteness!
